Kelly Jones is a proud Gomeroi descendant through her maternal grandfather, whose family comes from Boomi, New South Wales. She was born and raised on Gadigal Country and acknowledges the enduring strength and sovereignty of the Gadigal people. Kelly has served as the Ethics Coordinator at the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council (AH&MRC) for the past six years, where she is committed to upholding culturally grounded, community-led research governance and ethical practice.
