Dr Alana Gall is a Truwulway and Litamirimina woman from Lutruwita (Tasmania) and a Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Traditional Medicine at the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine, Southern Cross University. She is also an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow (2026–2030) and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and Menzies School of Health Research. Her research focuses on Indigenous traditional medicines, Indigenous health and wellbeing, and the protection of First Nations knowledges through culturally grounded, Indigenous-led research.
