Caleb Pholi
Care & Recovery Practitioner
Orange Aboriginal Medical Service
My name is Caleb Pholi, I’m a proud 27 year old Bundjalung man and have had the privilege of living, working and raising my sons on Wiradjuri country for the past 27 years. It has always been a vision of mine to work in the mental health and suicide prevention space, to help our mob and communities to the best of my ability. Thanks to Orange Aboriginal Medical Service, I have been able to obtain having that vision turned into a reality with commencing employment with Orange Aboriginal Medical Service as a Care and Recovery Practitioner in the Culture Care Connect/Bilingarra Bagurany Barraminya team. I have a strong vision and passion when it comes to helping mob and community, creating a safe space for mob and community to express how they are feeling, providing wrap around support, ongoing aftercare and having them feel not alone is paramount to our team.
