Belinda Field is a proud Wiradjuri woman who has lived on Darkinjung Country for over 41 years. With more than two decades of experience in child protection, out-of-home care, and education, Belinda brings a grounded, community-first perspective to her leadership.
For the past nine years, Belinda has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services Ltd, leading the only Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation on the Central Coast. Under her leadership, Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services has grown into a dynamic organisation delivering over 53 integrated services across health, social, and community support. Her work is firmly anchored in Aboriginal self-determination, service innovation, and systemic reform.
Belinda has worked across both government and non-government sectors, including as a qualified classroom teacher and senior advisor on Aboriginal-specific projects and policy initiatives. Her strength lies in bridging community and systems, turning policy into practice with integrity, cultural responsiveness, and a focus on outcomes that matter.
She is a Board Director of the NSW Council of Social Service (NCOSS) and the former Co-Chair of the NCOSS First Nations Partners and Advisors Group. She also served for eight years as a Board Director of the Central Coast Local Health District, where she played an influential role in guiding the implementation of the Aboriginal Health Plan, where she championed culturally responsive and accessible health services for Aboriginal communities.
Belinda holds a Bachelor of Teaching, Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, Diploma in Indigenous Community Studies, and Diploma in Community Welfare. She is also a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, strengthening her governance expertise and strategic leadership capabilities.
Known for her insight, strategic agility and relational leadership, Belinda is passionate about creating lasting change through partnership, accountability, and community-led reform.
