Our Partner

DDACL is a community-controlled organisation that is controlled by and accountable to the local Aboriginal people in the catchment area. It is governed by a community-elected Aboriginal Board of Directors. The programs provided by DDACL are holistic and culturally appropriate.

DDACL was established by families in the local area who saw the need to provide support for the growing Koori community. The service has adapted over the years to meet the changing needs of local Aboriginal people.

DDACL has firsthand knowledge of issues affecting the local Aboriginal community and take a flexible, culturally sensitive approach to all services. We ensure all of our programs and service responses have a strong cultural component and we strive to remain accessible to the community.
